Lauren handles a variety of general personal matters with a focus on criminal defense and civil litigation. Prior to joining the Law Offices of Anthony J. DiPaula, PA, she worked as an Assistant State’s Attorney for Harford County. During her time as a prosecutor, she regularly appeared in the Harford County District Court and tried all cases ranging from minor traffic citations and misdemeanors to serious felony criminal charges.
Lauren was born in Baltimore City and grew up in Street, Maryland. She attended York College of Pennsylvania from 2008 through 2011, completing her undergraduate studies in three years with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and a minor in Legal Studies. Immediately after college, Lauren enrolled and attended Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware where she met her fiancé. She was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society, and obtained her J.D. in 2014. Lauren has owned a home in Bel Air since the Summer of 2016. Lauren is the proud puppy parent of her miniature poodle, Lilith whom she adopted in 2017. Lauren spends a lot of her free time with her taking care of her house and training her puppy.
Lauren has been an active member of the Maryland State Bar Association since 2015. Currently she is serving on the Young Lawyers Section Council as the Awards Chair and has previously participated as the Circuit Liaison for Harford and Cecil Counties. Lauren is also a member of the Harford County Bar Association. Currently, she coaches North Harford High School’s Mock Trial team and is also involved in the High School DUI Mock Trial Program.
