Before joining McAndrews Law Offices, P.C., Mr. Beer was an Assistant Public Defender in the appeals division of the Defender Association of Philadelphia. He has extensive trial experience and has argued before both the Pennsylvania Superior and Supreme Courts. In addition to having extensive trial experience, Mr. Beer also co-founded the immigration project in the Philadelphia Defender Association.

He is a frequent lecturer both locally and at the national level on the immigration consequences of criminal convictions.

Mr. Beer lives in Chester County with his wife and children.
