Biography

Michael E. Gehring is an associate with McAndrews Law Offices, P.C., where he concentrates his practice on Special Education litigation and related civil matters in both state and federal courts. Following law school, Mike served as a law clerk to the Honorable Donald W. VanArtsdalen of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Mike has an extensive background in litigation, with over twenty years of experience in the public and private sectors. He has worked as an Assistant District Attorney in the Post-Conviction Relief Act Unit of the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office’s, where he developed extensive courtroom experience. Mike also served in the Appeals Unit of the D.A.’s Office, where he argued cases before the Pennsylvania Superior and Supreme Courts. In the private sector, Mike worked for several prominent firms in both Philadelphia and Chicago, where he handled trial, post-trial and appellate aspects of a wide variety of civil matters in both state and federal courts.
Mike lives with his wife and two children in Philadelphia.
