Ms Amanda Roy

Ms Amanda Roy: Attorney with Smith, Spires, Peddy, Hamilton & Coleman P.C.

Amanda worked through her undergraduate degree at the University of Alabama and through law school to graduate early with honors from Birmingham School of Law in August 2015. During her tenure at Birmingham School of Law, Amanda was a co-founder and charter member of the governing body of the Judge Hugh Locke Honor Society. Prior to joining Smith, Spires, Peddy, Hamilton & Coleman, Amanda clerked with the Honorable Judge Michael G. Graffeo in the 10th Judicial Circuit. Throughout her years in the courthouse, Amanda has seen everything from straightforward car accident and collections cases to multimillion dollar complex business disputes and medical malpractice actions resulting in permanent disabilities and death. Amanda has also practiced as a plaintiff’s attorney and appreciates the ins and outs of preparing and prosecuting a case from the other side.

Amanda’s practice ranges from motor vehicle and trucking collisions to cases involving violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act, products liability, dram shop, and wrongful death. When she’s not in the office, Amanda enjoys the outdoors, reading conspiracy theories and Harry Potter fanfiction, as well as spending time with her husband Brian and their awesome dog Briar Rose.
