Carmen Weite represents a wide array of corporate, professional, and individual interests in all aspects of civil litigation. Carmen primarily handles cases involving business disputes, employment related matters, insurance coverage and defense, personal injury, and professional liability.

Carmen attended Cumberland School of Law at Samford University where she graduated in the top 6% of her class. During her third year of law school, Carmen simultaneously served as Chief Judge of the Trial Advocacy Board, Copy Editor for the Cumberland Law Review, Teaching Assistant for Basic Skills in Trial Advocacy, and an Honor Court Justice.

As a two-year member of Cumberland’s National Trial Team, Carmen competed in six national trial advocacy competitions and won every round in which she advocated. In addition, Carmen won the Award for Best Use of Courtroom Technology at the Top Gun National Mock Trial Competition in Waco, Texas. In November 2017, Carmen was one of four team members to win first place at the Florida National Trial Advocacy Tournament in Gainesville, Florida; where Carmen also earned individual recognition as the competition’s Best Advocate.

Prior to attending law school, Carmen received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Finance from the University of Florida.
