Carolyne B. Jones joined Adams and Reese in 2016 as an Associate in the firm's Transactions and Corporate Advisory Services Practice Group in the Birmingham office. Practicing law since 2014, Carolyne has a broad range of experience in real estate, financial services, mergers and acquisitions, insurance, and labor and employment. She focuses her law practice on business and real estate transactions.
Carolyne earned her J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2014. While a law student, she participated in Alabama Law's Federal Externship Program in Washington, D.C. where she served as a law clerk for the Senate Judiciary Committee. Carolyne also held various legal internships in public and private sector organizations, including the Federal Trade Commission and AT&T.
Carolyne is a member of the Alabama Bar and is active in other law-related organizations. She spoke on a panel discussing small drone law at the 2016 Southeastern Environmental Law and Regulations Seminar. In the community, Carolyne serves on the Childcare Resources Junior Board.
Carolyne received her B.A. in American Studies with a Foreign Affairs Minor from the University of Virginia in 2010. As an undergraduate, Carolyne was a Dean's List honoree, she served on the Executive Board of UVA's Alternative Spring Break initiative, and she tutored students at an area high school.
