Why did you become an attorney?
I took a career assessment test while I was in college, which suggested that an attorney was one of the careers that I should pursue. Having always enjoyed solving riddles, figuring things out, and viewing things from different perspectives, pursuing a career in the legal profession seemed like the right way to go.
What is the best part of your job?
Being a transactional attorney, I enjoy getting to be part of a team working towards a common goal. I am very fortunate in that I am able to do this while working part-time, which allows me to spend more time with my children and experience the best of both my home and professional worlds.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I enjoy spending time with my husband, Rus, and two children, Kate and Carter. This usually means running between the soccer fields, tennis courts, and wherever else one of their many activities requires. I enjoy getting away to the beach, the lake, and the mountains.
