Mr. Kelly joined the firm in 2011, after working as an associate at a large natural resources law firm in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Previously, Mr. Kelly served one year as a term clerk for the Honorable Alan B. Johnson in the Wyoming Federal District Court. Since moving to Bozeman, Mr. Kelly focuses his practice on natural resources law and construction litigation. In his natural resources practice, emphasizing oil and gas, Mr. Kelly represents mineral interest owners in transactional and litigation matters including leasing, surface use agreements, royalty payment issues, environmental damage matters, lease covenant breaches, and lease forfeiture.
