Sammy earned her law degree at the University at Buffalo School of Law, where she was a “Note & Comment” editor for the Buffalo Law Review. She gained additional experience serving a legal internship at the Mental Hygiene Legal Service, a New York State agency responsible for representing and litigating on behalf of individuals receiving services for a mental disability. Before entering law school, Sammy graduated cum laude from Florida State University.
