  • While patents have historically been used to protect innovations in technology, recent changes in U.S. Patent Law have extended patents to also cover improved methods of conducting business. Unfortunately, many businesses are not aware of this change and most fail to consider both the missed opportunities and liabilities that can result from failing to evaluate newly adopted business practices.
