  • On September 25, 2008, President Bush signed into law the ADA Amendments Act of 2008 ("ADAAA"), which passed Congress with strong bipartisan support. Setting out to restore a "broad scope of protection" under the ADA, the amendments vastly expand the meaning of "disability" and open the doors to scores of employees formerly ineligible for work-related accommodations.
