Executive Summary

Alex Bruvels is an associate in both the Securities and Capital Markets and Investment Management Groups in our Calgary office. He advises clients in all aspects of the investment management industry, with a focus on investment fund and portfolio managers. He has experience advising clients in connection with the formation, management and operation of private investment funds in Canada and internationally, and the offering of their securities in private placements.

Alex acts for public and private companies in connection with mergers & acquisitions, public and private offerings of debt and equity securities. He also advises companies on regulatory requirements relating to stock exchange listings, general corporate matters, disclosure obligations and corporate governance matters.

Alex also enjoys advising non-profit organizations, small businesses, entrepreneurs and start-up companies on corporate matters from incorporation onward.
