Farha Salim: Attorney with Field Law

Biography

Farha Salim is a member of Field Law's Wills, Estates and Trusts group. Her practice encompasses all areas of estate and trust planning and administration, estate litigation, and charity and not-for-profit law. Prior to moving to Alberta in 2007, Farha practiced in the area of Wills, Estates and Trusts for over five years at a leading national law firm in Toronto. Farha is actively involved in the community and has acted as a board member and advisor to charitable organizations. Farha currently serves on a Grants Advisory Committee for The Calgary Foundation. Farha is an executive member of the Wills and Trusts Law section of the Canadian Bar Association (Alberta South). Farha previously served as Co-Chair of the Elder Law section of the Canadian Bar Association (Alberta South) and as Chair of the Charities Law section of the Canadian Bar Association (Alberta South). Farha has been selected by her peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in Canada for the past three years in the field of Trusts and Estates.
