Executive Summary

Jason is a senior associate in the Calgary office and is a member of our Construction group. Jason practices construction litigation and arbitration. He generally acts on behalf of owners, contractors and subcontractors in disputes regarding construction and engineering projects.

Further to his practice in the construction group, he has experience practicing municipal law, employment law and insurance litigation. This experience includes municipal enforcement, planning and land use, bylaws, expropriation and municipal litigation. His insurance litigation practice involved subrogation, coverage opinions, product liability, construction liability, property and fire losses, and environmental claims.

Jason has appeared before the Provincial Court of Alberta as well as the Alberta Court of Queen's Bench. He has also appeared before various administrative tribunals such as the Environmental Appeals Board, the Municipal Government Board and various Subdivision and Development Appeal Boards.
