Justine Blanchet is a partner in the Insurance and Tort Liability Group in our Calgary office. She practices in the areas of insurance and tort liability, general civil litigation and health law.
Justine acts primarily in insurance defence matters with respect to product liability, automobile accidents, fires, floods, directors and officers liability, professional negligence, commercial host liability, commercial construction, surety claims and coverage. She has experience with land transportation and acts for a variety of trucking insurers and other self-insured companies and specializes in product liability matters. Justine also acts for creditors in general civil litigation matters. She has appeared before all levels of the Alberta Courts.
Before joining BLG, Justine articled and was an associate with a regional law firm. There, she practiced in the areas of insurance, business services and wealth management. She is fluent in both English and French.
