Biography

The Honourable Terrence McMahon returned to Field Law as Senior Counsel and member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Group after retiring from the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta in 2012.

Prior to his appointment to the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta in 1992, Terrence's practise was focused civil litigation, primarily in the field of construction, surety and commercial matters. During those years, he appeared frequently before the Court of Queen's Bench in Alberta, the Alberta Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada. Since his retirement from the Court, Terrence has restricted his practise to commercial arbitration and mediation.
