Patrick W. Jansen focuses primarily on matters of complex civil litigation involving health care law, premises liability, and tort matters.
Mr. Jansen earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign before receiving his J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School in 2018. As a law student, Patrick was the recipient of an academic merit scholarship, an elected member of the Honor Council, and recognized for excellence in legal writing and oral argument. Patrick was also elected to be the Executive Notes Editor of the Notre Dame Journal of Legislation.Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Jansen served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Manish S. Shah in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois where he analyzed briefs and drafted legal memoranda. Patrick also gained state court experience as a law clerk for the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office Felony Trials Division. There, Patrick appeared in court daily to litigate a wide variety of criminal matters.
