Hunter Nowell was born in Winona, Mississippi in 1980. Hunter graduated from Cleveland High School in 1998 and attended the University of Mississippi where he obtained a degree in Managerial Finance in 2002. While at Ole Miss, Hunter was a member of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity and the Golden Key National Honor Society.
Upon obtaining his undergraduate degree, Hunter attended law school at the University of Mississippi where he obtained his Juris Doctor degree in 2006.
Hunter was admitted to the Mississippi Bar in 2006, and is licensed to practice in all Mississippi courts as well as the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi and the U. S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit. Hunter is a member of the Mississippi Bar Association as well as the Bolivar County Bar Association
