Jeffrey M. Salassa is a member of both the State Bar of Michigan and the Macomb County Bar Association. Jeffrey was named a Top Attorney in the area of Family Law in dBusiness Magazine (Detroit's Premier Business Journal) for 2012. Prior to becoming a Partner at Iafrate & Salassa, P.C., Jeffrey was a law clerk for the Honorable Judge Mark Switalski, Presiding Judge of the Family Court Division in Macomb County Circuit Court, and also interned for the Wayne County Prosecutors Office. Jeffrey is a graduate of Michigan State University (MSU). While attending MSU he was a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, spent a semester in Washington D.C. as an intern for the then Democratic Whip, Congressman David Bonior, and also spent a semester studying British Political Thought at Cambridge University in the United Kingdom. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications in 2003 he attended Michigan State University College of Law where he earned his Juris Doctorate in 2006.
