Sean M. Kohl is Of Counsel at Doucet & Associates Co., L.P.A. where he practices consumer protection and finance litigation. Sean graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education and received his Juris Doctorate from Western Michigan Thomas M. Cooley Law School Cum Laude with a concentration in litigation.

Prior to joining the firm, Sean worked as an energy attorney for Chesapeake Energy Corporation in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma advising the Utica Land Division on Ohio property, contract and oil and gas law. Sean also worked at Vorys, Sater Seymour and Pease L.P. as an associate where he represented several major oil and gas companies in litigation, regulatory and transactional matters. He also devoted a substantial portion of his practice to complex commercial litigation and corporate personal injury defense while at Vorys.
