William D. Pandolph joined the firm in 1988 and has more than 20 years of experience handling employment and benefit matters, including defense of ERISA and non-ERISA benefit and fiduciary breach, wrongful termination, Title VII, ADEA, ADA, and FMLA claims. He represents several major life, health and disability insurance companies in New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, and Vermont. He also represents employers, employee benefit plans, health maintenance organizations, third-party administrators and plan fiduciaries. He has successfully defended cases for such entities before state and federal trial and appellate courts both regionally and nationally, the New Hampshire Human Rights Commission, the EEOC, and in arbitration proceedings.
Mr. Pandolph is Co-Chair of the Sulloway & Hollis Labor and Employment Practice Group and the Insurance Defense and Coverage Practice Group. He has lectured on ERISA, employment and insurance issues for the New Hampshire Bar Association and other CLE organizations. Mr. Pandolph is an active member of the Life, Health, Disability and ERISA section of the Defense Research Institute and has published articles/book chapters on employment and insurance matters.
