Andrea was born in Fort Worth, Texas, but has been a resident of Dallas for the majority of her life. She received her B.S. degree with honors from Texas Christian University in 1982. She received her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Texas Tech University School of Law in May of 1985, and immediately commenced practicing law in the Dallas area. Andrea began her own firm, Andrea Winters, P.C., in 1990.Andrea is licensed to practice in all of the Courts of the State of Texas, as well as the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Texas, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the United States Tax Court. She is a member of the Dallas Estate Planning Council, the Trusts & Estates Section of the Dallas Bar Association, and the Texas Real Property, Probate and Trust Section of the State Bar of Texas.
