Burke Barclay graduated from Texas Tech University cum laude with a B. A. in political science and obtained his J. D. with honors from Concord Law School (Purdue University) .

He practices in Social Security Hearing Offices throughout Texas and Oklahoma for Claimants who have been denied their SSI or SSDI benefits. He personally represents every client from the beginning stages of their disability claim to their hearing or possible appeal.

He is admitted to practice law before the California Supreme and all inferior courts, the Central Federal District of California, Fifth Federal Circuit Court of Appeals, the Eastern Federal District of Texas, the Western Federal District of Oklahoma, and the United States Tax Court.
