Jennifer earned her J.D. from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 2000. While in law school, she was inducted into the National Order of Barristers for excellence in oral advocacy, served as the Managing Editor of SMU Law Review, was a finalist in the Carmody Mock Trial Competition, and was awarded National Champion and National Best Brief in the Federal Bar Association Thurgood A. Marshall Moot Court Competition. Jennifer obtained her B.A. in History from SMU in 1996, where she was a member of the Phi Alpha Theta history honor society.
Jennifer is admitted to practice in all Texas state courts as well as the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas. She is a member of the Dallas Bar Association and previously served as member of the Patrick E. Higginbotham Inn of Court in 2001-2002 and as the President of the Wichita County Bar Association in 2012-2013. Jennifer is a passionate supporter of the arts and previously served on the Board of Directors for the Kemp Center for the Arts from 2009-2011. Some of Jennifer’s favorite pastimes include spending time with her friends and family, traveling, yoga, and watching movies and football. Her favorite teams are the SMU Mustangs, the TCU Horned Frogs, and the Dallas Cowboys.
