Cindy Fleischner is a civil trial lawyer with twenty-five plus years of courtroom experience. While she has tried numerous legal malpractice, discipline/grievance, wrongful death, products liability, premises liability and other personal injury lawsuits in Colorado’s federal and state courts, she now specializes in the defense of attorneys in discipline and legal malpractice matters. She is a founding shareholder of McConnell Fleischner Houghtaling, LLC and for years, has been recognized by her peers in Best Lawyers in America, a preeminent referral guide to the legal profession in the United States. Ms. Fleischner is recognized in Colorado Super Lawyers in civil litigation and legal malpractice defense. She holds the highest rating awarded by Martindale-Hubbell® Law Directory as an AV® Preeminent™ Lawyer. She is highly sought after as a lecturer for her expertise in legal ethics, professional liability law and civil litigation.

Ms. Fleischner graduated from Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania in 1980. She was admitted to practice in Colorado in 1984 after graduating from the University of Denver College of Law. Ms. Fleischner is a member of the American, Colorado, Denver and Colorado Women’s Bar Associations. She has served on the Colorado Bar Association Ethics Committee since 1992 and is the chair of its Education Subcommittee.

Ms. Fleischner is adjunct faculty at the University of Denver College of Law, where she teaches Basic Trial Practice and Advanced Trial Practice. She served on the Board of Directors for Continuing Legal Education, Inc. from 2004 through 2008 and on the Rose Women’s Foundation Board from 2002 through 2006.
