Jessie M. Tasselmyer earned a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Spanish from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2008. Thereafter, she moved to Phoenix, Arizona where she worked for a local Social Security and Disability Law firm. Ms. Tasselmyer’s interests in the law were piqued during her career as a legal assistant, and prompted her choice to start law school in 2010. Ms. Tasselmyer graduated from Arizona Summit Law School in 2013.
During law school, Ms. Tasselmyer worked as a law clerk for the same Social Security/Disability Law firm writing appeal briefs to the Office of Disability Adjudication and Review Board and clerked for the Arizona Department of Transportation, Executive Hearing Office. Ms. Tasselmyer was also the President of her school’s Environmental Law Society. During her last semester of law school, Ms. Tasselmyer attended Florida International University College of Law as a visiting student.
Prior to joining Lee & Brown, Ms. Tasselmyer worked for a prominent insurance defense firm in South Florida practicing civil No-Fault litigation.
Ms. Tasselmyer is licensed to practice law in Colorado and Florida and is a member of the Professionals in Worker’s Compensation, the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association, and the Colorado Bar Association.
