Experience; Served as bond counsel, underwriter's counsel, borrower's counsel and bank counsel in connection with a variety of tax-exempt bond financings in several states. Experience in assisting governments and developers with real estate transactions and the financing, construction, management and operation of essential public services, utilities and infrastructure, including water, sewer, drainage, streets, transportation, fire protection, park and recreation, and library facilities. Experience as a liaison between legislators and business and trade organizations, advocated for legislation and coordinated campaigns on behalf of changes in education law; advised clients regarding pending legislation and proposed ballot amendments and propositions, and advocated on behalf of clients with regard to particular state and local legislation, rules and regulations. Experience as an attorney in the Denver City Attorney's office advising the Department of Public Works, the Department of Parks and Recreation, the Mayor's Office of Contract Compliance, the Denver Public Library, the Denver Art Museum, the Denver Botanic Gardens, and the Department of Environmental Health; clients included design, engineering and construction contracting.
