Biography

Matthew Faiver is an associate principal in the firm’s Detroit office. He focuses his practice on birth trauma and medical malpractice defense litigation. Mr. Faiver earned his J.D. from Wayne State University School of Law where he was both an Assistant and Associate Editor on the Wayne Law Review. He holds a B.A. in Anthropology from Michigan State University.

He was named a Rising Star in 2017 and 2018 by Super Lawyers. Rising Stars are attorneys who are 40 years old or younger or those who have practiced for ten years or less. Only 2.5 percent of Michigan lawyers are named to this list every year.

Mr. Faiver is a member of the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association and the State Bar of Michigan and is licensed to practice law in Michigan and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. Mr. Faiver is also active in the community, where he coaches boys’ soccer and basketball at St. Paul Catholic school in Grosse Pointe Farms.
