Philip McNelis



Philip McNelis is an associate principal in the firm’s Detroit office and practices insurance defense. During his twenty-plus years as an attorney, Mr. McNelis has focused his practice on the defense of complex first-party, third-party, premises liability and products liability actions.

Mr. McNelis received his J.D. from Wayne State University Law School where he was awarded the American Jurisprudence Book Award in Evidence. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, graduating with a double emphasis in psychology and political science.
