Masud has worked on a significant number of private equity transactions in Bangladesh in the last few years, where his approach to negotiating and closing transactions has been beneficial to his clients. Masud also advises on legal analysis and strategy on certain cases involving high value claims, foreign parties or specific sectors. Masud has been highlighted in the Chambers and Partners 2011, 2012 and 2013 publication as one of the top tier lawyers in Bangladesh (during his US practice days, Masud was ranked by Martindale Hubbell as "AV"—which translated to excellence in practice and highest ethical values, a rare ranking for at that time an young lawyer).
