Mr. Barron is a Dothan, Alabama native, and a graduate of Northview High School. He attended Auburn University, and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. While there, he was initiated as a member of the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa honorary society.
Mr. Barron attended the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama graduating in 2008. While at Cumberland, he was a member of Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity, the Dean's List and was named a Scholar of Merit. Upon graduation, Mr. Barron worked as an associate at the law firm of Carr, Allison, Pugh, Howard, Oliver & Sisson in Birmingham, Alabama. He returned to his hometown of Dothan, Alabama in 2011 to practice with Lee & McInish, P.C., now known as Lee, Livingston, Lee & Nichols, P.C.
In addition to engaging in general civil litigation, Mr. Barron primarily focuses on the firm's real estate practice. His areas of practice include real estate law, wills and estates, divorce, civil defense litigation, personal injury, general insurance defense, workers' compensation law, premises liability and insurance litigation. Mr. Barron is also a registered agent of First American Title Insurance Company, and performs extensive title abstracting and closing preparation for residential and commercial transactions.
Mr. Barron is a member of the Alabama State Bar Association, the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association and the Defense Research Institute. He is married to the former Anna Kathryn Lewis of Dothan, Alabama. Ben and Anna have one daughter, Elle.
