Daniel is a lifelong Northwest Indiana resident, has three daughters, and lives with his wife, Cathy, in Hobart, Indiana. He is an on and off again competitive swimmer, participating from time to time in U.S. Masters Swimming when he can bring himself to plunge into the uncomfortably cold water. Daniel’s reading interests include history, current events, and philosophy. His charitable efforts include legal pro bono work, assisting with a homeless men’s shelter in Valparaiso, and donating regularly and generously at the poker table.
