Biography

Danielle Bourgeois is partner with Field Law maintaining a practice in both general litigation and insurance. Danielle joined the firm in 2009, and was admitted to the Alberta bar in 2010.

On the general litigation side, Danielle has experience in secured and unsecured collections work, including representing national and regional banks, title insurers, commercial property managers or landlords, developers, and other creditors. She has done extensive recovery work including attachment orders, garnishments, seizures, and the like.

On the insurance side, Danielle has experience in subrogated property claims, fire loss, and personal injury defence in both the motor vehicle accident and occupiers' liability contexts.

Danielle has appeared before all levels of court in Alberta, including the Alberta Court of Appeal.

In her free time, Danielle is an avid marathon runner and long distance triathlete.
