Gary sat on the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board (SDAB) in Strathcona county for a number of years and has been involved in various hearings in front of the SDAB. He sought leave to appeal at the Alberta Court of Appeal on a decision related to Offsite Levies and is quite familiar with the appeal process. Further, he has advised clients on protracted and challenging development matters.
Gary is one of the few lawyers in Canada to have extensive experience as an Independent Supervising Solicitor and Counsel of Record for parties in Anton Piller Orders (civil search warrants).
