Biography

Melissa Timbres joined the firm as a lawyer in 2003 and is a member of the Firm's Corporate/Commercial and Privacy Groups. She has a general solicitor's practice providing advice to a wide-range of public and private clients covering such issues as contractual matters, lease negotiations, land development, technology and licensing issues and contracting for third party services. In addition, Melissa also provides ongoing advice to private and public sector organizations regarding privacy law matters such as drafting privacy policies, advising on compliance issues in contracts, including privacy law compliance in international and outsourcing agreements. In terms of approach, Melissa favours a pragmatic approach with a focus on solutions having regard to her clients' needs, resources and goals.
