AMY VANDERWOOD received her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a Minor in Spanish from Idaho State University where she was an ASISU Program Board Concerts Chair, Homecoming and Special Event Chair, as well as a Resident Housing Assistant. Ms. Vanderwood earned her Juris Doctorate degree as a magna cum laude from Southwestern University School of Law, receiving several honors and awards and participating as a Lead Articles Editor on the Southwestern Law Review. Prior to joining SRTK in 2009, she practiced general civil litigation and workers’ compensation defense in the Los Angeles area. Ms. Vanderwood represents both self-insured employers as well as insurance carriers on all aspects of Worker’s Compensation defense. In her leisure time, Ms. Vanderwood enjoys camping, knitting and quilting.
