  • Yesterday, Canada Stewart Energy Group (Stewart) filed an application with the Canadian National Energy Board to export 1475 Bcf/year of LNG over 25 years from a proposed land and floating liquefaction facility near Stewart, British Columbia. The Project will be capable of producing 4.04 Bcf/day of LNG and will be supplied by a proposed 800 km pipeline connecting Stewart’s Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin gas supplies. Stewart states that off-take supply agreements have been signed with energy groups in two major cities in China.
