• Department of Energy Approves Houston LNG to Export Gas

  • The US Department of Energy granted Texas LNG approval to export to Free Trade Agreement countries. Texas LNG has approval to export the equivalent of 100 Bcf/y (approximately 2 MTA) of domestically produced LNG. The authorization is for a 25-year term to current and future Free Trade Agreement countries. Texas LNG is currently building a $1 billion terminal in South Texas at the Port of Brownsville.
