  • AltaGas DCLNG General Partner Inc. (“AltaGas GP”) filed an application with the Canadian National Energy Board to export approximately 365 Bcf/year over 25 years from a proposed floating LNG terminal near Kitimat, British Columbia (B.C.). The project is a partnership among AltaGas GP, AltaGas Idemitsu Joint Venture Limited Partnership, a partnership between AltaGas Ltd. and Japanese company Idemitsu Kosan Co., Ltd., Belgium-based EXMAR NV, and French company EDF Trading Limited. The application states that a final investment decision on the first phase of the project is expected by the end of 2015, with deliveries of LNG to begin in 2018.
