  • The Alaska House passed a bill yesterday that would prevent the state from pursuing its own pipeline project “until either the fulfillment or failure of a state partnership” with the Alaska LNG export terminal and pipeline project developers. Alaska Governor Bill Walker proposed the Alaska Standalone Gas Pipeline, or ASAP, “amid concerns that Alaska LNG might not be the best deal for Alaskans” to access North Slope gas supplies.
