  • The Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency has ruled that a federal environmental assessment, rather than a provincial environmental assessment as requested by the British Columbia Environmental Assessment Office, is required for the WesPac Tilbury Marine Jetty Project. The project, proposed by WesPac Midstream¬†- Vancouver LLC, involves the construction and operation of a new LNG export marine terminal facility adjacent to the existing FortisBC Tilbury LNG liquefaction plant on Tilbury Island, along the South Arm of the Fraser River in Delta, British Columbia.
