EducationMr. Sargent obtained his law degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law, in Knoxville, Tennessee, where he was a member of the moot court board and won first place in the Advocates’ Prize Moot Competition arguing before a panel of Tennessee Supreme Court justices. While there he also made the Dean’s List with Honors and High Honors, and received a Certificate of Academic Excellence for receiving the highest grade in Property Law. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, where he received the Top-Tenn Academic Scholarship and the National Merit Finalist Top Scholarship Award all four years.
