Ryan S. Thorson’s practice focuses on business, real estate and banking matters. Ryan regularly represents and advises clients on a wide range of business matters including business formation, financing, acquisitions and sales and contract drafting and negotiation. Ryan’s real estate practice focuses on complex transactions including acquisitions and sales, due diligence, commercial leasing, financing, easements and development. Ryan also represents lenders in drafting and reviewing loan documents, securitization, work outs, and borrower due diligence.
Prior to joining Gast Johnson & Muffly, PC, Ryan was an associate at a Fort Collins law firm, where he was responsible for both litigation and business matters. Before entering private practice, Ryan was a federal law clerk for the Honorable Clarence A. Brimmer for the United States District Court for the District of Wyoming, where he was primarily responsible for drafting orders on dispositive motions involving commercial, employment, environmental, insurance and personal injury litigation.
Ryan received his J.D. from the University of Wyoming in 2007 where he was selected to the Order of the Coif and was a comment editor for the Wyoming Law Review. Ryan received his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2004 where he was a member of the Presidents’ Leadership Class.
Ryan is licensed to practice law in both Colorado and Wyoming.
