After graduating magna cum laude from Florida Gulf Coast University, he went on to earn his Juris Doctorate degree from Ave Maria School of Law in Naples. At Ave Maria, Mr. Fernandez was a senior editor of the Law Review and was published by the University of Idaho, College of Law: Critical Legal Studies Journal.

Mr. Fernandez is a bilingual attorney who is passionate in representing the people and motivated to help those in the Southwest Florida community.
