Kira Ceballos was born and raised in Fresno, California where she attended Hoover High School and graduated in 1994. After high school, Kira moved to beautiful La Jolla, California, where she attended college at The University of California at San Diego (UCSD). Ms. Ceballos graduated from UCSD in June of 1998, with a BA in Sociology. After graduation, although most thought she would never leave beautiful San Diego, Kira returned home to Fresno and immediately began law school at San Joaquin College of Law.
Ms. Ceballos enrolled in the three year law school program, and graduated on June 2, 2001. During law school, she participated in moot court, and was awarded the Best Oral Advocate, Semi-Finalist. She was also awarded several scholarships including Women Lawyer of the Year.
Following graduation from law school, Ms.Ceballos immediately began working for a firm practicing workers' compensation law (defense). After passing the July, 2001 State Bar exam, she began practicing workers' compensation law as a defense attorney.
Kira is now a wife and mother of a four-year-old girl and is also a member of the San Joaquin College of Law Alumni Association, and the Fresno County Women Lawyers Association. She has been a member of the State Bar, in good standing, since 2002.
