Danielle Joseph Key

Danielle Joseph Key: Attorney with Rebel Brown Law Group, LLC

Danielle Joseph Key graduated from Rutgers-Camden School of Law in 2001. Upon graduation, Danielle worked at SOLACE (now the Camden County Women’s Center) as a legal advocate.

In that role, she advised clients regarding domestic violence, their rights in Family Court and accompanied them to their Final Restraining Order hearings. She also was responsible for providing guidance to those who wanted to dismiss restraining orders.

In February 2002, Danielle went to work for South Jersey Legal Services, Camden office. While there, she provided advice and representation to clients in domestic violence, divorce and custody cases. Danielle also worked closely with the Victim Witness Advocate of the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office in providing safety planning and advocacy for domestic violence victims. Danielle also provided training to police departments, law students and Crisis Intervention Teams regarding domestic violence and the process of obtaining restraining orders. While at South Jersey Legal Services, Danielle co-taught a Domestic Violence Clinic at Rutgers-Camden School of Law and served as mentor to students during their representation of the Clinic’s clients at Final Restraining Order hearings.

Danielle came to Legal Services of New Jersey (LSNJ) in July 2004 to work in the Domestic Violence Representation Project (DVRP). While there, she provided representation to domestic violence victims in Final Restraining order hearings, divorce and custody cases. She also provided training to area Domestic Violence agencies, legal services offices and pro bono attorneys and founded the Domestic Violence task force at LSNJ.

In July 2007, Danielle transferred from DVRP to the Legal Services of New Jersey Hotline. As a Hotline attorney, she provided telephone advice and counsel to clients in the areas of custody, child support, divorce and adoptions. She also supervised the work of 2 paralegals and was the family law mentor to private attorneys who were providing pro bono legal services to qualified Legal Services clients.

In February 2013 Danielle branched out from legal services to open her own firm, Key Law Center, specializing in family law. Her experience at legal services has demonstrated the profound need for quality representation to the average working/middle class individual and their families. Never should the best interests of a child, or the rights of a parent, spouse or domestic violence victim be put in jeopardy.

In January 2016 Danielle started with the Law Offices of Conrad J. Benedetto where she expanded her practice areas to include criminal law and municipal court. She also provided representation in workman’s compensation case.
