  • The Florida Legislature convened for a Special Session in Tallahassee on November 16, 2010, with a mission. By the end of the day, legislators successfully overrode eight of Governor Charlie Christ’s vetoes from the prior regular session by enacting into law seven bills and one budget item, by a vote of two-thirds of the House and Senate. They also adopted two new measures.
