• Alaska Governor Seeks to Buyout TransCanada from Alaska LNG Project

  • The Alaska Dispatch News reports that Alaska Governor Bill Walker will ask state legislators to exercise an option to buyout TransCanada Corporation’s 25% pipeline share of the Alaska LNG project, which involves construction of an 800-mile pipeline and LNG terminal to access North Slope gas supplies for export. North Slope producers BP, ConocoPhillips and ExxonMobil are the other sponsors of the project.
