Melissa has been practicing law for over ten years. Her practice focuses on all areas of family law and her passion is to assist clients through their most difficult life events. In addition to family law, Melissa represents individuals in estate litigation matters and small, privately owned businesses with their various legal needs. Melissa’s experience with and knowledge of various types of law assists her in advising her clients with their legal needs.
Melissa is a New Jersey native who attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick and graduated, with honors, with a BA in History and Political Science. She received various honors including participating in the Henry Rutgers Honors Program and completing a Henry Rutgers Thesis. Melissa then attended Rutgers School of Law in Camden, where she received a Dean’s Merit Scholarship. Melissa volunteered for various organizations and received the Pro Bono Award for Significant Service. While in law school, Melissa studied abroad in The Netherlands. She also lived in Ireland between college and law school.
After law school, Melissa clerked for the Honorable Ronald E. Bookbinder, A.J.S.C., in the Chancery Division of Burlington County. Melissa worked with firms in New Jersey and Philadelphia prior to becoming associated with Adinolfi & Lieberman.
Melissa is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She is also admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the District of New Jersey, the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
Melissa volunteers with the Support Center for Child Advocates in Philadelphia and a Pathway to Hope Animal Rescue in North Haledon, NJ. She also volunteers as an arbitrator with the Philadelphia Arbitration Center. Melissa is a member of the Burlington County Bar Association.
Melissa lives in Haddon Township with her husband and son. Her interests include hiking, skiing, traveling, listening to live music, cooking and making wine with her family.
