Mr. Lohnes Tiner is the senior partner and founding member of the Tiner, Cobb and Byars law firm. He opened the practice in 1960. Mr. Tiner grew up in Balch, AR and graduated from Weiner High School in 1949. He joined the United States Air Force, and served as a flight engineer for 4 years, before working on test flights for Boeing Aircraft. He later attended the University of Arkansas where he graduated in January of 1955, and went on to earn his law degree from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 1960. Mr. Tiner has lived in Harrisburg for many years, where he enjoys time with friends, his daughter, his grandchildren, and his great-grandson. Mr. Tiner was awarded Volunteer Attorney of the Year in 2005. He has been active in the Arkansas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Bar Association.
